I have been a client of Steve's since 2006. At this time, I was pregnant and looking for a personal trainer who would understand my special physical needs and also motivate me, as pregnancy can be quite an emotional time.

I have had personal trainers before and I was really looking for someone mature and understanding, motivational and persistent.
Steve is all these things and more. I had put on a lot of weight during my pregnancy but Steve has helped me lose 20kg since the birth of my daughter. I really could not have achieved these results without him. Steve even watched the baby whilst we trained, allowing me to come to training as otherwise I may not have been able to make sessions (and yes, the baby loved him!).
 
Steve is so focussed and professional in his approach that he keeps you focussed and motivated. When you have forgotten or lost track of your personal goals, he will remind you and get you back training. Steve gets to know you and your individual physical and psychological needs. You don't notice him doing it, but he works out how to keep you as individual on track and motivated. This is where, in my experience, most trainers fail. Training with Steve is challenging, interesting and fun. He always mixes it up with different activites and routines. I really love the boxing.
 
Steve and I are still going. I want to lose more weight but I also want to maintain health and fitness into my late thirties and forties. Juggling work, baby and home is not easy but Steve is extremely flexible and makes every effort to make suitable training times. I can't recommend Steve enough. He is a true professional partner in helping you achieve your goals. Yes, he is inspirational for what he has achieved for himself but importantly, he knows how to pass this inspiration on to his clients so that they believe they can achieve their goals too.

At 31 years of age, three children 4 and under, a husband that works away for 2 weeks at a time and a small business to run I was fat, exhausted, unenthusiastic and on the brink of depression.

When I think of my journey with Steve I can see that he saw much more in me than I could. The door that he has opened for me means that I will no longer struggle with weight issues, motivation and confidence.

I am a changed woman. By being physically strong I now have mental strength. I am more energetic and patient with my children, more diligent with my clients and overall less stressed with the world around me.

I am only at the start of my adventure with Steve but I already have a great sense of achievement, and not only for the things that Steve has shown me that I can do now but also all the things that he will help me to achieve in the future.

Last week my husband wrapped his arms around my waist and told me that my body feels young. That makes me feel sexy.

Two days ago my four year old shared and apple with his little sister and told her that it was important to choose foods that can fuel your body. That makes me proud.

Inspirational and life changing.

Even though I was overweight, I was also worried about my lack of fitness, It came to a crunch when one day I needed to jog a very short distance and was horrified to discover that my legs objected strongly to this abuse of their sedentary existence!

When I first met personal trainer, Steve Irgl, he stressed the importance of an all round healthy lifestyle that included eating sensibly and exercising regularly. As our training progressed it became more and more obvious that Steve is well suited to his chosen vocation. He is an enthusiastic and focused trainer who takes a genuine interest in the progress of all his clients as well as empathising with, and addressing individual needs and abilities.

I like training with Steve because he has a seemingly innate capacity to understand where my optimum levels of endurance lie, thus making sure that I am working at my maximum during each session. His knowledge, skill and professionalism are to be commended.

When my husband Peter decided that he also wanted to work with a personal trainer, Steve took up the challenge and set up a program that allowed him to train both of us at the same time with the flexibility of allowing for our individual differences.

We both admire Steve's excellent approach to training, his ability to ensure that ever session is different and we enjoy the way he mixes the sessions up so that our workouts are interesting as well as keeping us challenged and motivated. As two middle-aged people in our mid 50s, we are extremely proud of our fitness levels which is entirely due to Steve's ability to keep us on task.

It is fantastic training with Steve and we are convinced that we hit the jackpot as far as personal trainers go. If you are looking for a personal trainer, we believe that with Steve Irgl, you are getting the best there is!
